The EnviroCheck App is intended to provide a simple, quick means of conducting a compliance monitoring inspection on your mobile device while at a work site and transmit completed inspection reports via wifi or the cellular phone network. EnviroCheck consists of two parts: 1) EnviroCheck app installed on a mobile device, 2) EnviroCheck web-based database which is used to store and manage all completed surveys. The database is accessible only to project administrators. Unless otherwise specified in the database set-up, the individual app users may only complete the electronic inspection forms and submit data but many not access final inspection reports or edit the locations to which completed forms are sent.

EnviroCheck is specifically designed to assist teams in meeting LEED© SS prerequisite 1 Construction Activity Pollution Prevention and covers all the criteria in the 2012 U.S. EPA Construction General Permit.

Within the app, specific questions relating to on-site pollution and sediment prevention measures are answered by selecting "yes", "no" or not applicable "N/A". One or more photos may be taken in reference to a particular question to provide supporting evidence. Where an inspection item is indicated as being less than satisfactory, a comment is required to provide additional information. Following completion of the survey, the information is sent to a web-based database. Within the database, a pdf of the completed inspection form is generated along with a correlated photo-appendix. Project administrators access the database through a secure log in and password and can view all completed inspection reports by project and send copies via e-mail.

The app must be downloaded from the itunes stores using your apple ID and itunes account information. It is highly recommended that the user have a data plan already in place on their phone.
